This hill that overlooks the city of Cajamarca has long been a place of veneration. The Chavin culture buried dignitaries around the peak, and it was, later, a place from which to worship the rain, lightning and the stars.
There is now a cross and small chapel pertaining to the dominant Catholic faith ... as well as great views.
