Overview

Based out of the town of Coca, a short flight from Quito, in Ecuador's Orellana province, the M/V Anakonda is a Superior-Class sister ship to the long-serving Manatee, which explores the rainforest and waterways in and around Yasuni National Park, in supreme comfort.

Boasting four decks, she has 14 spacious standard cabins on the Main Deck, 4 VIP cabins on the Upper Deck, and a Sun Deck with a plunge pool and loungers.

All 18 suites are equipped with air conditioning, 24-hour electricity, and a private bathroom with hot water.

To accommodate families, there are two sets of inter-connected suites.

When not in their cabins, passengers can socialise in the dining room, bar, observation deck, or al-fresco lounge.

Guests will be pampered throughout by the 25-person crew, which includes a concierge, purser, paramedic, and various naturalist guides.

These knowledgeable guides come into their own during the various, daily excursions to the tropical rainforest and villages of Limoncocha Wildlife Reserve, Pañacocha Biological Corridor, and Yasuni National Park - Ecuador’s largest.

For the adventurous, there is the chance to paddle through the still waters of an Amazonian tributary, using one of the Anakonda's two-man kayaks.

While, if you wish to experience sleeping in the jungle, without roughing it, there is the option of a night's 'glamping' under canvas, on longer itineraries.

Mealtimes are always a highlight, with the accomplished chefs offering a wide variety of national and international cuisine, adapted to make use of fresh, local products.

The Anakonda offers itineraries of four, five, and eight days, throughout the year.

With the changing of the seasons, and the rise and fall of water levels, every trip is unique.
